My mothers tribe is Arrente. She is from 16 Mile near Alice Springs, where I grew up. My mother and her sisters and my grandmother (Theresa Collins) did their paintings and I watched them. Louisa Webb my mothers sister is a good artist, she also taught me. My father is a Djambarrpuyngu man and when I was 13 I moved to Arnhem Land.
