Bonba is a much loved animal. Bonba is sung by some Dhuwa clans like Wagilag and Djambarrpuyngu sing and dance Bonba. Bonba is sung along with Galun, a type of yam, Bonba tells us when the yams are ready to collect and eat in the dry season.
