Mr Cameron lived most of his life in Gapuwiyak Community with his wife and children. He was a fibre sculpture artist and liked to make birds, crocodiles, buffalo and lizards, these are woven from pandanus fibre and filled with paperbark, materials collected from the local area. He worked together with his wife Penny to make these animals. He has been an active member on the board at Gapuwiyak Culture and Arts
