Baygurrtji is a homeland area near Blue Mud bay. The Koolatong river flows through this area. This artwork represents this area and shows the crocodiles, fish and other river life that live here. Some paintings also include the sacred fire pattern associated with the crocodile and may also show the sacred Larrakitj, Dhanbarr, laying underwater where the fresh meets the salt water.
